The Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation Center uses a multidisciplinary approach to focus on teaching cardiac patients and their families about disease, risk factor modification, heart-healthy eating and how to exercise safely to improve their quality of life.

The staff includes a Medical Director, a Board Certified Cardiologist, RNs that are ACLS-certified, a Master’s-prepared Clinical Exercise Physiologist and a Bachelor’s-prepared Exercise Specialist.

Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation offers inpatient services seven days a week for education and a walking program.  The department also offers an outpatient program Monday through Friday which is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am – 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8am –10am.  Phase II is provided Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10am – 12 noon.  Also included is the adult fitness program for those who are interested in improving their health through exercise.
