Dr. Winterton is a graduate of University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, and Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease. Born in New Orleans but raised in Shreveport, Dr. Winterton is board certified in cardiovascular disease and has been practicing in Lake Charles since 1996.
